Kathy Findlay actively serves on the Women’s Advisory Board (WAB), whose mission is to support and promote the career success of women in the roles of client-facing advisors, branch managers, and head office professionals.
In 2021, Kathy Findlay was honoured to receive the Women of Distinction Award. The award recognizes strong women who make a difference at RBC by demonstrating their leadership at work and in their communities, sharing their talents and time with others, and pushing boundaries with new ideas and perspectives.
With a passion and vision for the advancement of all investment advisors (IAs) at RBC Dominion Securities, Kathy Findlay works tirelessly with the Head Office team to support the IA Peer-to-Peer Mentorship and Subject Matter Expert programs.
Kathy Findlay and her family are longtime supporters of the JDRF. Kathy's son was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at 14 months old, and the JDRF has since been an incredibly important part of her family's life. Recently, the family made a five-year commitment to support Canada's first JDRF Centre of Excellence in Type 1 diabetes research located at UBC.
Kathy Findlay serves as an officiating volunteer for age group and university swimming to support the advancement of youth in swimming.
